One Must Have a Mind of Winter

We'll be back, folks.
Things to look forward to in the late winter/early spring:
Lauren Groff reading at Borders, A. Van Jordan on campus, the Wisconsin Institute for Creative Writing Fellows' reading series, a Glass Bookcase reading with Sean Hill and Kevin Gonzalez, and perhaps some informal bar venue readings to keep us warm.

It's a long winter, but look here for more posts on what's up around town.

Happy Holidays,
Ryan

Stuff Yourself with Delicious Poetry This Thursday!

Remember how you ate to your heart's content last Thursday? Well, this Thursday (Dec. 4), we're pleased to present a double helping of poetry to close out the semester. Get all you can now because it's a long cold spell before our next event.

The first course will be served at 4:30pm when Amaud Jamaul Johnson & Kimberly Johnson (no relation) read in the FELIX Series at Memorial Library Room 126.

Top this off with more poetry at 7:00pm at Avol's Books, where MFA students Kristen Muir & Laurel Bastian will send you into the literary equivalent of a blissful food-coma (though you won't be sleepy, I promise).

See you there!
