A talk and bilingual poetry reading by Clayton Eshleman, Poet and Emeritus Professor, Eastern Michigan University, on Monday, September 15 at 4:00 pm. 6191 Helen C. White




Clayton Eshleman is a National Book Award winner poet, critic, and translator, as well as former editor of the influential poetry journals Caterpillar and Sulfur, among others. During 2006, The University of California Press published The Complete Poetry of César Vallejo. A Bilingual Edition, a work that culminates decades of Eshleman's labor in translating one of the most important Latin American poets of the 20th Century.
